Papier Mache Pumpkin 022 Topper

“The boundaries which divide Life from Death are at best shadowy and vague. Who shall say where the one ends, and where the other begins?” -Edgar Allan Poe

This papier mache pumpkin from STOLLOWEEN is right at home in the boundaries between life and death.
Made from a variety of papier mache techniques this jack o’ lantern is sure to delight children and adults alike….especially when you remove the top revealing two large black flies nestled inside the lid.

This pumpkin took approximately two weeks and used a variety of recycled materials such as newspaper, cardboard and wire. The pumpkin is hand painted and finished with a variety of oil stains and urethane.

Height: 15 inches
Weight: 5.5 pounds

This pumpkin is intended for interior use only.

NOTE: The inside of the pumpkin is painted flat black. To illuminate the interior it is suggested that a sheet of yellow or orange craft foam be placed inside the pumpkin to create a nice pumpkin-like glow when lit with a low watt light bulb. Do not use real flames or light bulbs that generate high heat.

Available on Etsy.
